Volunteers bring energy, expertise, and care into our classrooms. Whether you are a parent, local resident, or alumnus, your time directly supports our pupils’ learning and well-being. To ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children, all volunteers must complete our standard vetting process before starting.

Safeguarding & Enhanced DBS Check
Ecclesall Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In line with statutory guidance, all regular school volunteers are required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with a Barred List check prior to commencing any volunteer duties.
- DBS Process: Upon receipt of this form, the school office will email you a secure link to complete the online DBS application.
- Identity Verification: You will be required to present original identification documents (e.g., Passport, UK Photocard Driving Licence, recent utility bill or bank statement) in person at the school reception. We also need to see a Birth Certificate.
- Existing DBS Holders: If you are already registered with the DBS Update Service, please provide details to the school office.
